Consignment Agreement
Thank you for choosing to consign with Sinta Vintage™. We’re committed to making the process simple, transparent, and rewarding while ensuring every piece we offer meets our standards for authenticity, condition, and presentation.
1. AGREEMENT TERM
The consignment period is 90 days from the date Sinta Vintage receives the item.
If you request the return of your item before the 90-day consignment period has ended, an early-return fee of $177 per item will apply, in addition to any applicable shipping costs.
At the end of the 90-day term, if the item has not sold, we will coordinate its return to you. Return shipping will be at the consignor’s expense.
2. PRICING
Every consignment request is carefully reviewed. Suggested pricing is based on factors including:
Current market value
Brand and model
Condition
Age and rarity
Authenticity
Original inclusions and accessories
Current market demand
Any initial quote is subject to physical inspection and authentication by Sinta Vintage. Final pricing may be adjusted following our evaluation of the item.
All pricing is in Canadian dollars (CAD).
3. PRICE ADJUSTMENT
If your item has not sold by 60 days, Sinta Vintage may recommend a 20% price reduction to help encourage a sale.
Any price adjustment will be communicated to you before the reduction is made.
4. AUTHENTICITY
Authenticity is at the heart of what we do. We are committed to ensuring that only authentic items are offered through Sinta Vintage.
All quotes are subject to physical inspection and authentication.
If an item is determined by Sinta Vintage to be inauthentic or unable to be authenticated, the item will not be accepted for sale.
If you would like the item returned, an authentication handling fee of $477 per item will apply, in addition to return shipping costs.
Alternatively, you may authorize Sinta Vintage to dispose of the item on your behalf.
5. PAYMENT
Once your item has sold and payment has been successfully processed, your consignment proceeds will be paid within 5–7 business days.
Payment may be made by:
Email transfer (e-transfer), or
PayPal, subject to applicable PayPal fees.
6. OWNERSHIP & AUTHORIZATION
By consigning an item with Sinta Vintage, you confirm that:
You are the legal owner of, or are otherwise legally authorized to sell, the item.
The item is not stolen, counterfeit, subject to a lien, or otherwise prohibited from sale.
You authorize Sinta Vintage to market and sell the item on your behalf during the consignment period.
You agree to provide accurate information about the item, including its history and condition, to the best of your knowledge.
7. CONSIGNMENT FEES
Our consignment rate covers the work involved in bringing your item to market and completing the sale.
Depending on the item, this may include:
Evaluation and authentication
Photography and content creation
Marketing and go-to-market strategy
Listing and sales management
Customer service
Payment processing
Shipping
Bag spa or appropriate preparation, where applicable
An immediate buyout offer may also be available as an alternative to consignment.
8. CONSIGNMENT RATES
Selling Price
Sinta Vintage Consignment Fee
$500 or less | $270 flat fee
$501+ | 27%
The applicable fee will be based on the final selling price of the item.
9. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Items may be delivered by appointment where available, or safely shipped once the consignment has been mutually agreed upon.
