Perfect for everyday use and travel, my purpose is to help you cut to the chase. In 1930, the Speedy was released as the Express, a nod to the evolution of rapid transit at the time.
Speed doesn’t always mean quick, however. While I’ll help you move on the express, picking up momentum, I won’t phase out just that fast. Humble in my brown monogram canvas, I’ve made vows to the ethos of circularity and slow fashion, positing a well-built handbag meant to be passed down through different cultures and generations. While articles of fashion can help one move faster, I don’t agree with the idea that fashion should be fast. As you wear me, let my name pronounce this message. Speed-y. As you interact with articles of clothing, notice the speed at which they were produced or last, and ponder “y” that matters.
